If it had been a problem, I was prepared to make a pair of adapters, but fortunately they were not needed. That was one concern expressed here when I first asked about doing this. Btw, it seems quite secure and the leather such thickness that when I tried making a cotton cloth mock-up to try and tear lose, I could not. I like it a lot and have to wonder about BigC not offering a strap on at least one of the 2100 models. I think it turned out pretty well considering that I have no fine leather working tools, which would have made the task much easer, especially given the angle of the inside cuts that were involved.ДЄnyway, I posted something here earlier about the fitment. So, I decided to give it a shot and then found I had an appropriate, heavy, non-tapered, black leather take-off of the correct width. Comments, as I recall, were, 'no' and 'why are you asking, again? The answer is still, NO.' Regarding the leather strap on the white & black stainless, I'd asked about doing so here a couple of times thinking someone MUST have already done so. I do not see why CoA could/would not replace a crystal on a North American model as long as the parts required are available. It is more 'metalic' looking and less 'painted on' looking than on the Hawk, for want of a better description. Yes, it is a dark finished ti (imo), but different than that on the older ti SkyHawk I have. I quickly got swirlies on the clasp of the 'H' model. However, I am not impressed by the durability of the ti finish. I've three ti model 2100/210s (including the two bullheads and use either the white or black stainless as travel watches since they are rugged, easy to operate, legible, and (in a pinch) relatively cheap and easily replaced.
